Okay... When the hunt begins there will be some LM changes for a lot of the stores listed, so when you get your hunt items.. SAVE the LM's you find inside of them as they will be the most up to date LM's for your favorite stores!!!

I am working on what the hunt item will be that you all will scour SL to find. Be patient my store owners as they will be sent out to you soon, along with an updated poster!! YAY!! And a schedule of the walk through we are going to do.

It is getting closer and closer, but I'm not pulling my hair out this year.... yet. ;) We will see..lol

At 11pm the 30th of Sept. we will have a COUNTDOWN PARTY at the Dolly Box (the starting location) and will be playing music for 24 hours! So if you want the stream information so that you can have it at YOUR store as well.. just ask and we will hand it out!

SL's Grid Wide Doll Themed Hunt!! - "No Strings Attached 3 - The Lost, The Broken, The Unclaimed"

This hunt will run from October 1 to 31th 2011. This hunt's theme is The Lost, The Broken, The Unclaimed.

Because of the month and the theme this time around we will accept some of the shops that offer a darker, macabre feel that we did not accept previously. So if you have been denied before for that reason, apply again! It will be worth it.

We will be accepting applications until September 10th.

Spots will fill up fast as I am also actively going out to all of my favorite Doll Stores to ask them, personally, to be a part of it as well as the some of the stores that really shined in the first one. This means only a handful of spots will be open for others!

“Ribboned & Ravishing: A Dolly Dress-Up Contest”

Ready to strut your stuff?! Well it’s that time of the hunt again. CONTEST TIME! The theme for this year is Ribboned & Ravishing. So that means pull out your favorite outfit and put on your ass-kicking shoes! From April 20th to May 10th you’ll have that chance!



But there are a few things that will differ from last years event, so please pay extra attention to the following:

★ Firstly, once the contest starts there will be a lovely little mailbox at the EoS/UTD mainstore that you will slip your NC Entry into. The information for the note card you need will be at the end of this post and the one you fill out and turn in. PLEASE do this, it makes our lives so much easier.

★ Secondly, The contest will be judged by a panel of twelve judges. The judges will be from all around the dolly world. Also their names will NOT be released to the public, to protect what’s left of their sanity(if they have any left).

★ Thirdly, if the runners in this contest perform asshattery and we (Beautiful Engineer and Rosey Faith), see it…You have the possibility of being disqualified purely on principle. We do not like asshattery. So please be on your best behavior. Also, if it was found that you cheated during the contest.. you WILL be disqualified from entering into the contest.

So now that we’ve gotta that outta the way, I’ll give you some more details of the contest. Like it says above the contest is titled “Ribboned & Ravishing: A Dolly Dress-Up Contest”. So basically the majority of the things you are wearing have to come from the hunt. We understand if you wear RLV and can’t remove it, just please include that in your entry NC and we won’t count it against you.

Your entries for the contest must be SNAPSHOTS. The snapshot cannot leave game, textures WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. We believe that puts everyone on an even playing field. Now you’re allowed to mess with your environmental settings and so forth, but the entry cannot be edited outside of game. Again, we will not accept your entry if it’s textures.

★First Place: Gets a shiny new penny! No seriously, the first place prize is 2500 L and a special custom skin from Beautiful Engineer OR a commission art piece from Rosey Faith.

Imagine my surprise when I see this and it is only April 3rd.

Over 2 THOUSAND visits to the blog.

This doesnt event begin to count how many people are actually doing the hunt. There are so many out there within other groups not related to the hunt group itself that I send the NC for the hunt to as well (I am in several other hunt type groups).

I am so excited!

So many people love what we offer, are curious as to what "dolly is" and cater to us. Why? Because we are a SHOPPING FORCE.

We have grown as a community from more than just odd little clockwork dolls that fit into some fringe category of Steampunk. More than lifesize, walking, talking, Dead Dolls. More than freaky little latex covered beings within the BDSM genre and into a full on genre of our own.

You can see the growth simply by doing a search for dolls within the groups category of SL.

We have someone from FabFree working on a post for us, a full on article on The Torch, the entire hunt listed on SL Freebie Hunters, and it just keeps coming!

I want to thank every single one of our Designers and of course the hunters themselves. Just like last year, we invited all of the tippity top doll fashion designers and several of them never got back or declined. If we keep this up these stores wont dare to miss out!

If you have a favorite dolly store to shop at and you see that they are NOT in the hunt.... MSG THEM and ask that they become a part of NSA3 that will be held in November of this year!

The last couple of years I noticed that some things are lacking... so lets ask our favorite NON traditionally dolly type stores to create a line FOR US! Such as hair, shoes, jewelry, furniture, and houses!

You make a little ansamble of only NSA2 hunt items (100% NSA2 items ONLY... eyes, hair, and skin too!) and take a picture. A group of people will vote on them and the top 3 will get a Linden gift as well as custom items.

I am getting SO excited!

Today is the first notice that I sent out to make the NSA2 hunt "public". Until now it has been invite only, and I am still waiting on a few replies.

I am accepting only 50 stores, and so far I have a little over 30!!

Along the side of the blog you will find the logs of our stores. Take a look for them and check out the goods they gots! Remember that without amazing stores.. hunts suck. So make sure that you browse about and show em a little linden love.

SL's Grid Wide Doll Themed Hunt!! - "No Strings Attached 2 - Ribbons and Lace"

Oh yes... You read it correctly. WE ARE BACK, as promised.

No Strings Attached was a hit that blew us all out of the water! The designers left saying it was one of the best hunts they have enjoyed in a while, and the hunters refused to leave the chat when it was over! I left with the promise that within the year we would do it again! So here it is! Spots will fill up fast as I am also actively going out to all of my favorite Doll Stores to ask them, personally, to be a part of it as well as the some of the stores that really shined int he first one. This means only a handful of spots will be open for others!

This year we will be a bit more picky about the stores chosen as we now have the proof of this hunt being a huge hit - it is with our hopes that some of the larger doll stores that missed out on the first hunt just might be on board this time!
